EDIBLE FOREST Organisation de l’Unité Africaine
Public Constitution of EDIBLE FOREST Organisation de l’Unité Africaine — EF-OUA: the purpose, the conscious foundation and the method of the Organization. This conceptual text is distinct from the legal bylaws of the association loi 1901, a French nonprofit association governed by the Act of 1 July 1901. The legal bylaws govern the association’s legal operation; the Public Constitution sets out the foundations of its vision.
Conscientize to recognize the Intelligence that underlies the living world.
Preamble
EDIBLE FOREST constitutes the purpose of the Organization and its material orientation. EDIBLE FOREST begins with the possibility of enriching African territories through the identification, selection, acclimatization, reproduction and transmission of natural edible resources—particularly reproducible seeds and plants—chosen for the nutritional and taste quality of the harvests they can produce. This orientation includes improving the quality of natural edible resources, diversifying them, reproducing them, acclimatizing them and transmitting them, as well as the conscious relationship between these resources, ecosystems and territories.
The EDIBLE FOREST Organisation de l’Unité Africaine recognizes Intelligence as the consequence-aware activity of supramental energy. Intelligence establishes an instantaneous, non-memory-based relationship with reality, orders it, and makes it expressible.
It recognizes Savoir as the new information that proceeds from Intelligence. Savoir expresses itself through speech or action. This expression becomes lived experience. The memorized trace of that experience becomes knowledge.
Intelligence and Savoir constitute the conscious foundation of the Organization. Conscientization constitutes its process and method: the Organization works toward the conscientization of the human animal so that memory, the ego and collective consciousness no longer govern the present on their own. It conceptually establishes African unity through the coordination of individually responsible consciousnesses, without centralizing consciousness, without submitting territories, and without personal cult.
The Organization claims conscious continuity with the founding impulse that led to the creation of the Organization of African Unity in Addis Ababa in 1963. It pursues this impulse in the order of conscientization, without claiming the legal personality, organs, powers or administrative succession of the former OAU.
EDIBLE FOREST is the purpose of the Organization; Intelligence and Savoir are its conscious foundation, conscientization is the process and method, and the Organization is the functional translation of this consciousness into consequence-aware functions, responsibilities and actions. Thus, Intelligence → Savoir → Conscientization → Organization governs the way EDIBLE FOREST thinks and acts. These levels fulfill different and complementary functions: they are neither confused, nor opposed, nor artificially placed one above the other. Africa constitutes the territorial, historical and organizational center of gravity. Natural edible resources and the living ecosystems on which they depend constitute the privileged material field in which EDIBLE FOREST can progressively take shape. The relationship to this material field remains governed by Intelligence, Savoir, conscientization, consequence, responsibility, experimentation and correction.
EDIBLE FOREST SEEDS, experiments, selected seeds and plants, experimental territories, seed banks, protocols and traceability, conservation, reproduction, documentation and transmission mechanisms constitute possible, progressive, experimental and revisable material forms of EDIBLE FOREST. These forms are not to be confused with EDIBLE FOREST itself as a purpose and are never presented as achieved when they are not.
Article 1 - Name and Purpose
The French name is EDIBLE FOREST Organisation de l’Unité Africaine.
EDIBLE FOREST is the purpose of the Organization. EDIBLE FOREST begins with the possibility of enriching African territories through the identification, selection, acclimatization, reproduction and transmission of natural edible resources—particularly reproducible seeds and plants—chosen for the nutritional and taste quality of the harvests they can produce. This orientation concerns the improvement and diversification of natural edible resources, their reproduction, their territorial acclimatization and their transmission, the observation and comparison of the quality of harvests, as well as the relationship between edible resources, ecosystems and territories. None of these orientations is presented as an activity already achieved.
Intelligence and Savoir constitute the conscious foundation of the Organization; conscientization is its process and method; consequence-aware organization translates this consciousness into the coordination of functions and responsibilities, and into corrigible actions, knowledge and material forms.
It brings back to light the demand for unity carried by the founding initiative of 1963 and pursues its accomplishment through conscientization.
It is an idea, a vision, a method and an organization currently being structured.
Article 2 - Intelligence
Intelligence is the consequence-aware activity of supramental energy. It establishes an instantaneous, non-memory-based relationship with reality, orders it, and makes it expressible.
It is neither memory, nor intellect, nor intellectuence, nor culture, nor the accumulation of knowledge.
Intelligence belongs to no person, no leader, no group, no territory and no institution.
Article 3 - Savoir
Savoir is the new information that proceeds from Intelligence and becomes expressible within the instantaneous relationship with reality, before its appropriation by the ego.
Savoir proceeds neither from the accumulation of memories, nor from their logical reorganization, nor from a person's subjective certainty.
Its expression confers no personal importance on the one through whom it is expressed.
Article 4 - Experience, Knowledge and Intellectuence
Savoir expresses itself through speech or action. This expression becomes lived experience. The memorized trace of that experience becomes knowledge.
Intellectuence experiments, memorizes and compares in order to know. It organizes what is known, supports learning and prepares action, but it does not produce Savoir.
Knowledge remains a useful and revisable instrument. What is known holds no right to govern the present on its own.
Article 5 - Soul and Perisprit
The soul is the memory-based vehicle and organization of experience. It preserves the traces through which experience becomes available to knowledge and intellectuence.
Within the metaphysical framework of the Organization, the perisprit is the vital envelope of the soul and an interface of transmission between the memory-based organization and bodily expression. It is not the primary reservoir of memories.
These definitions belong to the metaphysical framework of the Organization. They are not presented as results established by contemporary science.
Article 6 - Conscientization of the Human Animal
Conscientization is the process through which the human animal progressively recognizes what, in its thought and action, proceeds from memory, the ego, collective consciousness or an intelligent relationship with reality.
The human animal is the being whose consciousness remains governed principally by memory, emotion, desire and collective consciousness. The human being is the human animal progressively conscientized to Intelligence and freed from subjection to the sovereignty of the ego.
No one may claim a superior rank or definitively classify another by means of this distinction.
It is neither a belief, nor a conversion, nor a religion, nor adherence to a person or a psychological authority.
It observes thought, emotion, desire, speech, action and their consequences. It recognizes contradiction, corrects expression and abandons a form that has become useless.
Article 7 - Ego, Anegoization, Singularity and Responsibility
The ego is the center of identification formed by the agglomeration of repeated memories. It organizes the present to confirm the continuity with which it identifies.
Anegoization is the process through which the ego's identified organization loses its sovereignty and progressively ceases to be defended. The ego disappears as a command center; the energy that sustained it changes function. Individual singularity and responsibility remain. Expressive personality also remains.
It rests neither on guilt, nor on humiliation, nor on self-hatred.
Article 8 - African Unity
African unity proceeds from conscientization, consequence and cooperation among individually responsible consciousnesses.
This unity takes up the founding impulse of the OAU and shifts it from mere institutional coordination toward the conscious coordination of functions, territories and responsibilities.
It means neither centralization, nor uniformization, nor submission, nor the fusion of individuals into a collective consciousness.
Each territory retains responsibility for its resources, its decisions and the local consequences of any experiment.
Article 9 - Africa, Territories and Diaspora
Africa constitutes the territorial, historical and organizational center of gravity of the EDIBLE FOREST Organisation de l’Unité Africaine.
Africa is not a homogeneous unit. Each territory has its own conditions, languages, memories, resources and responsibilities.
Any relationship with Afro-descendant territories and the diaspora remains a progressive consequence of an African organization that has become real, consequence-aware and transmissible. It respects local realities, territorial responsibility and freedom of adaptation.
Article 10 - Organization and Authority
The Organization coordinates functions and responsibilities. It does not merge individuals into a collective consciousness.
Authority is attached to a defined, limited, controllable and revocable function. It confers no superiority of consciousness.
Documented disagreement fulfills a corrective function. It constitutes neither a fault, nor disloyalty, nor an attack on unity.
No founder, leader, author or contributor is presented as a master, owner of Savoir, or exclusive embodiment of Intelligence.
Article 11 - Consequence, Ecology and Responsibility
Consequence is the alignment of action with the reasonably accessible totality of the relations and effects of the event.
Ecology is the economy of energy throughout the complete chain of human, material, living, territorial, temporal and organizational consequences.
Each person assumes their acts, their effects, and the correction that falls within their function. Guilt replaces neither analysis, nor reparation, nor responsibility.
Article 12 - Experimentation and Correction
Experimentation manifests a proposition in matter, allows its consequences to be observed, and produces experience and then knowledge. It does not produce Savoir.
Every experiment is progressive, traceable, proportionate to risk, and reversible whenever possible.
Its conditions, resources, results, failures, uncertainties and corrections are documented. An experiment that is useless, dangerous or lacking in consequence-awareness is modified, suspended or abandoned.
For future EDIBLE FOREST experiments, any sufficiently significant public statement must be traceable to a documentable chain adapted to its context: proposal or hypothesis → initial state → intervention → measurement → data → analysis or validation → public statement.
This chain constitutes an internal method of traceability and verification, not a universal definition of the scientific method. It adapts to the nature of the experiment and preserves the data, conditions, limitations and corrections necessary to understand the result.
Data does not automatically become a conclusion; an isolated result does not automatically become generalizable knowledge. An invalidated hypothesis may be rejected and a documented failure may produce knowledge. A public statement can and must be corrected when new data or experiments contradict it.
Article 13 - The Living World
Natural edible resources and the living ecosystems on which they depend constitute the privileged material field in which the EDIBLE FOREST purpose can be expressed, observed and experimented upon. The EDIBLE FOREST purpose, the conscious foundation formed by Intelligence and Savoir, and conscientization as process and method fulfill distinct and complementary functions.
The relationship to this material field remains governed by Intelligence → Savoir → Conscientization → consequence-aware Organization. The Organization works with the living world as a field of consequence, and not as inert matter, a mere experimental support, or decorative illustration. Every intervention considers its consequences and recognizes territorial conditions.
In every experiment, local knowledge is recognized within its context. It is documented and confronted with experience without dispossessing territories or claiming superior knowledge. No knowledge or expertise confers a superiority of consciousness.
Article 14 - Material Forms
This article concerns the possible material forms of EDIBLE FOREST, and not EDIBLE FOREST itself as the purpose of the Organization.
Progressive material forms may notably include: EDIBLE FOREST SEEDS, the selection of natural, reproducible seeds, their reproduction, their multiplication and their acclimatization, the multiplication and acclimatization of plants, territorial experiments, seed banks, protocols, traceability, conservation, documentation and transmission systems, as well as other territorial forms developed subsequently. These forms remain progressive, experimental, corrigible, revisable and dependent on their actual conditions of realization.
Their mere designation or their presence in this Constitution proves neither the existence of a center, nor an implementation, nor a network, nor a partnership, nor funding, nor an active experiment, nor an agronomic result, nor a commercial validation. EDIBLE FOREST SEEDS remains a program in preparation and is not presented as operational.
A material form is developed only when its function, responsibilities, resources, risks and conditions for correction are established.
Article 15 - Reality, Public Accuracy and Transparency
The Organization distinguishes Reality, Truth and falsehood. Truth is a coloration of Reality, just as falsehood is a coloration of Truth. Truth is therefore not established as a principle superior to Reality.
All material information is presented according to one of the public statuses corresponding to its actual state: Existing, In preparation, Envisaged or Not constituted.
No partner, funding, land, center, bank, network, experiment, result or validation is presented as real without available evidence.
Any operational, agronomic or experimental statement made public must be traceable to verifiable elements allowing its origin, status, production conditions and, where applicable, validation conditions to be known.
A public or internal register of evidence could constitute a future form of application of this principle; no evidence register is presented as already operational.
Any reference to the former OAU, to Haile Selassie I or to the African Union distinguishes established historical facts, the Organization's conceptual interpretation, and verifiable legal assertions. The continuity claimed by the Organization is a continuity of impulse and conscientization; it constitutes neither an affiliation nor an institutional succession.
Conceptual certainties express the framework adopted by the Organization. They are not presented as scientific, legal or material proof.
Article 16 - Revision
This Constitution remains corrigible. It is revised when an internal contradiction, a more reliable source, a new consequence or a documented experience requires its correction.
In the event of internal contradiction or revision, the coherence of the Constitution preserves the purpose, EDIBLE FOREST; the conscious foundation, Intelligence and Savoir; the process and method, conscientization; the organizational translation, the consequence-aware coordination of functions and responsibilities; as well as the principles of consequence, responsibility, experimentation, correction, public accuracy and non-personalization. Material forms remain experimental, corrigible and revisable. The purpose and the conscious foundation are neither confused, nor opposed, nor artificially placed one above the other: they fulfill different and complementary functions within the coherence of the Organization.
Intelligence knows. Savoir expresses itself. Experience becomes knowledge. Intellectuence organizes what is known. Conscientization prevents what is known from governing the present on its own. The Organization translates this consciousness into consequence-aware, responsible and corrigible actions.Guiding Formula
Version 1.1 — September 2, 2026. This revision clarifies the distinction between EDIBLE FOREST as the purpose of the Organization and Intelligence → Savoir → Conscientization → Organization as the conscious foundation, process and manner of acting. It also clarifies the relationship between experimentation, knowledge, documentable evidence and public statements, and harmonizes the terminology of public statuses. It does not constitute a general overhaul of the sixteen articles. Version 1.0 had been validated on August 4, 2026.
