EDIBLE FOREST is the purpose from which this Organization proceeds. The EDIBLE FOREST — Organization of African Unity coordinates the functions and responsibilities required for the nutritional and taste enrichment of African territories, without central ownership of seeds, land, or knowledge.
EDIBLE FOREST is the purpose; the Organization is its consequence
EDIBLE FOREST begins with the possibility of enriching African territories through the identification, selection, acclimatization, reproduction and transmission of natural edible resources—particularly reproducible seeds and plants—chosen for the nutritional and taste quality of the harvests they can produce. The Organization proceeds from this proposition; it is not its origin.
Durably enriching a territory's food resources requires coordination: selecting, documenting, cultivating, comparing, acclimatizing, reproducing, and transmitting call for distinct functions, exercised across several territories and over several cycles.
This coordination implies no central ownership. Seeds, land, harvests, and knowledge remain under the responsibility of the territories and people who hold them. The Organization coordinates functions; it does not hold the resources.
EDIBLE FOREST remains the purpose and the material orientation. Intelligence → Savoir → conscientization → Organization describes the way of thinking and acting. The two are not to be confused.

Translating conscientization into organization and action
The Organization establishes a framework of conscientization founded on Intelligence and translates its consequences into correctable actions, knowledge, and material forms.
It begins neither with a structure to impose, a network announced in advance, nor institutional centralization. It begins with the recognition of Intelligence and Savoir, then organizes the functions required for action that accounts for its consequences.
The Organization is an idea, a vision, a method, and an organization currently being structured. Its material development depends on defined functions, real responsibilities, verified resources, and conditions for correction.
Renewing the founding impulse of the OAU
The EDIBLE FOREST — Organization of African Unity brings back to light the founding impulse of the 1963 OAU carried notably by Haile Selassie I. It does not claim administrative succession to the former institution. It pursues what remains unaccomplished in the order of conscientization.
The African Union represents the officially recognized institutional succession. EDIBLE FOREST affirms another continuity: that of a demand for unity engaging the transformation of the human animal and the organization of individually responsible consciousnesses.
Unity without uniformization
African unity proceeds from conscientization, consequence, and cooperation among individually responsible consciousnesses.
It means neither the centralization of consciousness, the uniformization of peoples, the submission of territories, nor the fusion of individuals into a single collective identity.
Each territory retains responsibility for its resources, its decisions, and the local consequences of any experiment. Cooperation becomes real when functions, commitments, resources, and responsibilities are clearly established.
Unity coordinates responsibilities; it does not eliminate singularities.
An African organization attentive to territorial realities
Africa is the territorial, historical, and organizational center of gravity of the EDIBLE FOREST — Organization of African Unity.
Africa is not a homogeneous unit. Each territory has its own languages, memories, resources, conditions, and responsibilities. No material method is transferred mechanically from one territory to another.
Any relationship with Afro-descendant territories and the diaspora remains a progressive consequence of an African organization that has become real, consequence-aware, and transmissible. It respects local realities and freedom of adaptation.
Defined, limited, controllable, and revocable authority
Authority is attached to a function. It exists to enable a precise responsibility to be exercised within a known scope.
A function of authority has an object, limits, resources, a duration, an obligation to account for its actions, and conditions for review or revocation. It confers no superiority of consciousness.
No founder, leader, author, or contributor is presented as a master, owner of Savoir, or exclusive embodiment of Intelligence.
Documented disagreement performs a corrective function
A decision is examined according to its function, resources, risks, and the reasonably accessible range of its consequences. Its author or rank is not sufficient to make it consequence-aware.
Documented disagreement is neither a fault, disloyalty, nor an attack on unity. It helps identify a contradiction, a limitation, or a consequence that was not considered.
When a decision, rule, or form no longer fulfills its function, it is corrected, suspended, or abandoned. The continuity of a structure does not take precedence over the usefulness of its function.
Organize according to the complete chain of consequences
Consequence is the alignment of action with the reasonably accessible totality of the event's relations and effects.
Usefulness is not limited to an immediate result. It is assessed through the human, material, living, territorial, temporal, and organizational effects of the action.
Ecology is the economy of energy throughout this complete chain. It avoids shifting a cost, harm, or expenditure of energy onto a person, a territory, another form of life, or a later time.

The Public Constitution defines the name, purpose, Intelligence, Savoir, conscientization, African unity, authority, responsibility, the living world, and the conditions for any experiment.
