Actual status of the project
This page distinguishes the four public operational statuses used by the EDIBLE FOREST Organization of African Unity: Existing, In preparation, Envisaged and Not constituted. It is updated whenever a real and verifiable change alters one of these statuses.
Organization of African Unity through Conscientization
Elements established as of September 4, 2026
Status: Existing
- the official name EDIBLE FOREST Organization of African Unity;
- EDIBLE FOREST as the purpose and generative principle of the project;
- the conceptual framework Intelligence → Savoir → Conscientization → Organization;
- the existing 16-article Public Constitution;
- the public French website spirit.mystik.work;
- the new French editorial architecture centred on EDIBLE FOREST;
- the pages /edible-forest, /richesse-nutritionnelle-gustative, /edible-forest-seeds and /genese-edible-forest;
- the reorientation of the pages /organisation, /fondements, /conscientisation, /experimentations and /origine-oua-haile-selassie;
- internal research and consistency texts that are not intended for publication.
The historical positioning is now established: the Organization claims conscious continuity with the founding impulse of the 1963 OAU, without claiming its legal or administrative succession.
The existence of a name, a text, a website or structuring work does not prove the existence of a material site, a territorial network or an experimental system.
Elements in preparation
Status: In preparation
- EDIBLE FOREST SEEDS as the central operational programme to be prepared;
- methods of selection, documentation, experimentation, comparison and transmission;
- the functions required for the future organization;
- the general structuring of the Organization, its governance and its responsibilities;
- the English version and the implementation of the bilingual architecture;
- clarification of the legal and administrative conditions required for future forms.
The status "In preparation" means that drafting, organization or preparatory action is actually underway. It does not mean that its final form, resources or timetable are already established.
Envisaged elements
Status: Envisaged
- Gabon as the first envisaged pilot territory;
- Liberia as the envisaged second stage;
- later expansion to other African territories according to locally adapted methods;
- progressive experiments with the living world;
- an EDIBLE FOREST Experimental Protocol in working version;
- a future expanded Public Constitution explaining the 16 articles;
- relations with Afro-descendant territories and the diaspora once the African organization has become real, consequential and transmissible.
An envisaged possibility constitutes neither a definitive commitment, an achievement, a partnership, nor proof of funding. It remains subject to resources, responsibilities, risks and observable consequences.
Elements not constituted as of September 4, 2026
Status: Not constituted
- no constituted territorial network;
- no operational site;
- no partnership presented as constituted;
- no funding presented as secured;
- no active experiment;
- no validated agronomic result;
- no operational seed bank;
- no protocol adopted as an applicable standard;
- no EDIBLE FOREST SEEDS structure presented as active;
- no constituted Organization of World Unity.
The Organization holds no recognition, affiliation or legal continuity with the former OAU or the African Union and does not present itself as one of their organs.
The present absence of a structure does not prevent its future study. It simply prevents it from being presented as real before verifiable evidence, functions, responsible parties and resources exist.
A change founded on verifiable facts
An element moves from the status "Envisaged" to the status "In preparation" when actual work can be described: an action begun, a responsible party or function identified, a resource available and a verifiable trace.
It becomes "Existing" when its reality and function can be documented proportionately: place, date, responsible party, action, data or other suitable evidence.
An element may also be suspended, abandoned or reclassified as "Not constituted" when its conditions are no longer met. Public correction prevails over artificially maintaining an old announcement.
Documented developments
August 4, 2026:
- validation of the 16-article Public Constitution;
- reclassification of the 111-article Constitution as an internal, non-publishable conceptual document;
- adoption of a definitive editorial charter;
- reorganization of the website around Intelligence, Savoir and conscientization;
- grouping of seeds, protocols and territories into a single experiments page;
- removal of former presentations giving excessive reality to future structures.
August 11, 2026:
- establishment of the Organization's historical positioning: conscious continuity with the founding impulse of the 1963 OAU, without legal or administrative succession;
- creation and publication of the "Origin and Continuity" pages;
- integration of this historical origin into the Home, Conscientization, Organization and Public Constitution pages.
September 1, 2026:
- reconstruction of the French architecture to bring EDIBLE FOREST back to the forefront;
- creation of the pages devoted to EDIBLE FOREST, to the nutritional and taste quality of harvests, to EDIBLE FOREST SEEDS and to the genesis of the project;
- reorientation of the Organization, Foundations, Conscientization, Experiments and Origin and Continuity pages to distinguish EDIBLE FOREST as the Organization's reason for being from the conscious framework as a way of thinking and acting;
- explicit maintenance of the distinction between what exists, what is in preparation, what is envisaged and what is not constituted.
September 2, 2026:
- publication of the Public Constitution in version 1.1, revised on September 2, 2026, with version 1.0 still mentioned in the revision note;
- establishment in this text of the reference definition of EDIBLE FOREST covering natural edible resources, particularly seeds and reproducible plants.
September 4, 2026:
- harmonization of the project's general wording with the Constitution's reference definition;
- replacement of the disconnected contact form with an explicit email contact and removal of the confirmation displayed before sending;
- correction of the participation pathway and unification of the four public operational statuses: Existing, In preparation, Envisaged, Not constituted.
Future changes will be added only when they actually change the status of a public element.
Contributing to the accuracy of public information
Anyone may report material information that has become inaccurate, a contradiction between two pages, or an achievement presented without sufficient evidence.
The report should identify the page, the wording concerned and, whenever possible, the verifiable element enabling the correction.
