Organization of African Unity through Conscientization

Conscientization, Ego, and Anegoization

It eliminates neither memory, knowledge, nor singularity. It recognizes their function so that what is known no longer governs the present on its own.

Conscientization is the process through which the human animal progressively recognizes what, in its thought and action, proceeds from memory, the ego, collective consciousness, or an intelligent relationship with reality.

Organization of African Unity through Conscientization

01

Experience leaves a memory-based organization

Expressed Savoir becomes lived experience. The memorized trace of that experience becomes knowledge and remains available to intellectuence.

Within the metaphysical framework of the Organization, the soul is the memory-based vehicle and organization of experience. The perisprit is the vital envelope of the soul and an interface of transmission between this memory-based organization and bodily expression. It is not defined as the primary reservoir of all memories.

Memory performs a necessary function: it makes learning, recognition, and transmission possible. Conscientization does not seek to abolish it. It prevents memory-based organization from being confused with a new perception of the present.

Supramental notions, the soul, the perisprit, and anegoization belong to the conceptual framework of the Organization. They are not presented as results universally established by contemporary science.

02

The ego organizes the present from memory continuity

The ego is the center of identification formed by the agglomeration of repeated memories. It organizes the present to confirm the continuity with which it identifies.

The ego does not designate the whole person. It is neither a sin, a moral fault, nor an enemy to hate. It is an identified organization of memory that seeks to maintain sovereignty over thought, emotion, desire, speech, and action.

This organization may defend a self-image, repeat a known reaction, or seek the approval of a collective consciousness. Conscientization makes these movements observable without turning them into grounds for guilt.

03

The ego loses its sovereignty, singularity remains

Anegoization is the process through which the ego's identified organization loses its sovereignty and progressively ceases to be defended. The ego disappears as the command center; the energy that sustained it changes function.

Anegoization destroys neither expressive personality, singularity, nor individual responsibility. It rests neither on humiliation, self-hatred, nor psychological submission.

It cannot be imposed by an external authority. No person, group, or organization can claim the power to declare definitively that another individual is or is not anegoized.

04

A distinction of process, never a personal ranking

The human animal is the being whose consciousness remains governed primarily by memory, emotion, desire, and collective consciousness.

The human being is the human animal progressively conscientized to Intelligence and released from subjection to the sovereignty of the ego.

This distinction describes a process of conscientization. It allows no one to claim a superior rank, humiliate another person, or definitively classify individuals into categories of value.

05

Becoming what we have never been

In 1963, Haile Selassie I placed the human being before an unprecedented challenge: to become what it had never been. The Organization takes up this demand and presents conscientization as the process through which the human animal recognizes the sovereignty of memory, the ego, and collective consciousness, then progressively frees itself from it.

This continuity does not make Haile Selassie I the source of the supramental definitions of Intelligence and Savoir. It connects his call to inner transformation with the process of conscientization developed by the Organization.

06

Unity does not require the fusion of consciousnesses

Collective consciousness brings together shared memories, habits, affiliations, and reactions. It can transmit useful experience, but it can also cause a response to be repeated merely because it is common or old.

Individual consciousness takes on the observation, decision, and consequences of action. It means neither isolation nor a refusal to cooperate. It allows cooperation among responsible individuals who do not delegate their consciousness to a group.

The African unity sought by the Organization proceeds from this coordination. It rests neither on the uniformization of territories nor on obedience to a single collective consciousness.

07

Conscientization acts in thought and in action

Conscientization observes thought, emotion, desire, speech, action, and their consequences. It recognizes what stems from a repeated memory, a defense of the ego, collective pressure, or an intelligent relationship with reality.

It does not demand a perfect response. It makes it possible to recognize a contradiction, correct an expression, and abandon a form that has become useless or without consequence.

  1. Observe what manifests.
  2. Identify the function of memory, the ego, and the collective.
  3. Examine the consequences of speech or action.
  4. Correct what does not respond to the actual situation.
  5. Preserve useful knowledge without surrendering the present to it.
08

Assume the act, its effects, and its correction

Responsibility is taking charge of an act, its effects, and the correction that falls within a function. It is not to be confused with shame, guilt, or moral punishment.

Guilt can maintain identification with the past without repairing the consequences produced. Responsibility examines the facts, recognizes what stems from the action, and implements the correction available.

This distinction founds an organization in which documented disagreement, revision, and correction perform a useful function.

09

From individual consciousness to consequence-aware organization

Conscientization does not remain an inward reflection separate from action. It transforms the way a function is defined, authority is exercised, a decision is made, and its effects are assumed.

The Organization coordinates individually responsible consciousnesses. No function confers a superiority of consciousness; no unity justifies erasing singularity or territorial responsibility.

10

Conscientization at the service of EDIBLE FOREST

Conscientization is the process and the method; it is not the purpose. The purpose remains EDIBLE FOREST. EDIBLE FOREST begins with the possibility of enriching African territories through the identification, selection, acclimatization, reproduction and transmission of natural edible resources—particularly reproducible seeds and plants—chosen for the nutritional and taste quality of the harvests they can produce. Intelligence and Savoir remain its conscious foundation, and the Organization its functional translation and the coordination of consequences.

Applied to this material orientation, conscientization requires naming the actual status of each element, comparing before affirming, publishing the limitations, and correcting what no longer corresponds to the actual state.

  • No harvest quality is affirmed without comparison, method, territory, and level of evidence.
  • No network, partner, funding, or result is presented as existing.
  • An intention remains an intention until it has been verified.
