A proposal, not an existing structure
This World Seed Bank is not yet constituted. It represents a proposal for an organization to be built and experimented with. No territorial bank is presented as operational.

An imagined decentralized network
Each territory would remain responsible for its plant heritage, its local resources, its experiments, its validations and its decisions on conservation or dissemination.

Envisioned functions
If such a network were to be built, EDIBLE FOREST OAU would propose to protect the vision, establish a protocol, map territories, connect banks, organize traceability, preserve the memory of experiments, coordinate transmissions, and document successes and failures.

Imagined territorial responsibilities
Each EDIBLE FOREST SEEDS could inventory its local resources, protect its seeds, experiment, reproduce, adapt, validate, conserve, disseminate and transmit results to the network.

EDIBLE FOREST OAU is not at the center to own — it links, coordinates and protects the shared memory.

Local resources belong to territories. No resource received would be automatically validated locally.

What this World Bank must not become
Neither a central vault holding all the world's seeds, nor a speculative financial system, nor a dependency imposed on territories.
